I really enjoyed Rob Zombie's version of the "Halloween" series, it gave the franchise a boost that it has been lacking for some time. Zombie’s version of Halloween focuses more on the
back-story of Michael and how
he came to be a very
vicious serial killer. Zombie's "Halloween II" is way better than his first, with a great story line and many brutal kills. By far, one of my favorite new horror movies out there. Hoping that Rob comes back for a third movie and makes this a legitimate reboot of this franchise.

I am a big Horror movie fan and started watching horror movies around the age of 8. A few year back there was a wave of remakes and reboots. I thought the reboot of "Friday the 13th" was a great movie. Rob Zombie's reboot of the" Halloween" series was brilliant and gave a new spin on Micheal Myers. However, I really did not care for some of the remakes. The remake of "The last house on the left" was stale compared the the original. I thought the new "Nightmare on Elm St" should have stayed closer to the original movie. Overall, I think Reboots are better then Remakes. Any thoughts or comments? suggestions on what movies should be remade or series reboot?
